The last few days are a welcome change of pace, though I still can't think of much else other than the key Raven returned to me. Of course the usual friends in the Pony without the chaos ensuing is something I gladly accept, especially when there is a new charming woman joining our little group. She was from Gondor, though her bronze skin and hair has caught more than my eyes. Dryn the lad, was also trying to hit on her plus engage in scuffles of wits. Though I found the woman, who I just call Gwaed highly attractive, I stated to her I had no intention of bedding her, and I meant it. I'm certain Cesistya and Baldmar are faring well themselves, even though I haven't seen much of them, or talked with her in the former's circumstance.
The spring festival has started and I am surprised of that, especially due to problems I have seen all around Bree-Land, and in parts of the Shire, the North Downs, and the Lone lands. That maze I see others go through gives me a certain joy, since when I was still growing up in the orphanage, the other kids and I would sometimes take trips to that hedge maze, and play hide and seek. I was always the last one found, if I hadn't reached the home free spot in those games....
Today though, ended with Dem, the bard in black approaching me with a request. I was rather bored with myself so I decided go along with to the back of the Pony. He asked me, Brywulf, and that familiar grey ranger fellow to help him in freeing his sister from a corrupt nobleman from Gondor... as if I hadn't seen enough of those blokes running around as it is. To be honest, I just gave up trying to make sense of Dem's little scheme, even as almost all of our positions were next to the door to the main hall. It didn't matter anyway, since the bad lord was slain by Brywulf and Dem... The hostage had a cut neck, though her jugular was unharmed, so there's that. In addition, there was something having to do with Dem being next in line for lordship of something... Given all the crap I had to put up with last week, I'm more exasperated than anything else in Gondorian affairs. Other than that though, this week so far has been rather pleasant.
