It has been quite some time since I last wrote here. Quite against my original intentions, I simply abandoned my journal – something I now regret – during my pursuing of the completion of my book on the Dwarf-folk. A guide for other Hobbits on identifying and communicating with the strange Eastern traders and travellers.
One notable fact has struck me: it has been no short amount of time since I last spoke to – or even saw – Mr. Boffin. I do believe he left Barleywick some time ago, returning recently: even so, I do hope I have not offended him.
Perhaps a vintage bottle of my great-great-great-grandfather Boldo's is in order.
