A Thoughtful Sunrise

As she sat and watched the sun rise over the greenery of Staddle Giara thought about the events that had transpired.

It had been some months since she had left The Vale and reveled in the freedom and joy of exploring unknown lands.  Thus it wasn't until recently that she met someone that she might call a friend.

It started when she happened upon the still smoking remains of Archet.  Something stirred with in her upon seeing the blackened buildings.  She offered her help to those that would except it from one so strange as she.  It was with each foe she vanquished that Giara felt like she had found her purpose.  She would use her abilities to help those that could not do it themselves.

Therefore, when she strayed into Bree one evening she wasn't sure what to make of the man sitting at the fountain.  He didn't seem to need help, at least not the kind she had become accustomed to giving.  Yet somehow through the conversation she had given him her own food (for he was sorely thin) and even told him where he might find her.

Maybe it was being so far away from her kin or maybe it was curiousity about the race of man on this side of the mountains, or maybe...or maybe...  She wasn't sure entirely other than knowing he needed some much needed nourishment and perhaps someone to hold converstation with.

She let out a gutteral sigh and shrugged her big hairy shoulders as the sun's rays fully broke over the hills.  Then standing she gave herself a good shake causing the fur on her body to ruffle from the movement.  Turning she ambled back to her camp, returning to her man form as she went and missing the warmth that the form of the bear offered in the chill of the morning.

It was time to get some fresh honey cakes made for she was certain she would have a visitor some time this day.
