On The Course With A Horse

Giara's thoughts drifted back to the previous days as she rode back towards Bree on her recently aquired companion; a dark chocolate brown horse who told her that his name is Braesal.

She had been gone from her camp for several days by this point.  Her search had finally ended near a horse farm.  The community of rabbits there had said they knew of whom she was speaking and would pass along her message.  Giara felt relief to finally have found an end to her quest and some peace at knowing that she had done what she could, for she could not take back the actions of the man whom she considered a friend.

With her task done, Giara had went to the horse farm with an idea forming to see if any would want to accompany her on her travels.  After helping the family out with a few small problems of orcs, she was able to buy Braesal for a better price than she would've otherwise.

Thankfully he was a willing companion and had an adventurous spirit.  She was quite happy at the thought of not having so much time alone, even though that is what she had sought when she left her home in The Vale.  It had been surrounded by animals which kept them company.  Giara was more than glad to have such a fine horse as this one willing to come along with her.  The others had all declined, respectfully of course.

She shook herself out of her thoughts and patted Braesal's neck, he arched it in return continuing on with a steady pace and ears forward.  She knew at the pace Braesal was keeping they would reach Bree in the next day and she was trying to decide whether to go around it or through it.

She chewed her lip a bit nervously at the thought of the claustrophobic feeling of the larger town with buildings and people pressing in on all sides.  Braesal snorted and rolled an eye back to look at her with a slight turn of his fine head.  She chuckled at the question and told him the reason for her anxiety.  The horse got bounce in his step and tossed his head a couple of times which made the decision for her.  Since he was so keen on seeing the place she would go through Bree and who knew...maybe she would run into a familiar face along the way.
