Captain's Quick Report: A Fine Kind of Mayhem!

Today the 'Dr. Star and the Acoustic Mayhem' put forth a performance of delightful music for the audience gathered for this week's Bird and Baby Yard Party.  With their grey-toned top hats of splendor looks, they played long and with lively cheer; well reminiscent of past times where they appeared elsewhere in memory such as weddings, and past OAKS concerts

Officially known these days by current name for their collective of Hobbit-musicians -- patrons and admirers of past performances may recognize titles such as 'Starfraggles', 'Fraggle Rock' and 'The Fraggles' instead.  It was confirmed by the Hobbit herself, Miss Starfraggle, that here in our part of the lands, at the least, Dr. Star and the Acoustic Mayhem is the name to watch for!

Their choice of music and appearance brings a spirit of story, enthralling emotions of joy, abundant heart, and even sincere reflection -- as with so many with talent for musical notes and instrument.  The wholesome playing was with harmony and melody which continued to ever push greater heights of moving warmth within the audience, from beginning to end.  Along with announcements around the half-mark about other upcoming Bird and Baby Yard Party occasions, and the next OAKS (Oldfurlong Amazing Koncert Series) in a few days -- the night could be deemed most certainly a success by many an observer t'would they have been there.  There was such an atmosphere and warmth, that one last song was performed for the audience -- even after the last splendid encores had finished!

These are times and opportunities for friends, familiar faces, and those new visits but of good heart to gather together, and take to a most fulfilling event full of dancing, music, celebration, and good cheer among so many fine personalities.

Indeed, outstanding it was... so much so, that it was almost too sudden that urgent matters struck me, in need of attention -- and I had to dash away to begin attending to them as appropriate with dire haste.  I daresay the sudden workload lain upon my schedule these these next days and night may trouble me for time to get any other writing done!  Luckily, there was some spare moments to write this early report for submission, while riding upon the roads to my next destination of business.  What a pleasant break it was to listen to fine music as that which Dr. Star and the Acoustic Mayhem showed just hours ago!

P.S.

Along with the next OAKS concert in a few days where the Polnolunie will perform, there are faint tidings and whispers about fabled Elven traditions further eastwards where they will be celebrating and welcoming the season of Summer, or also 'Passage into Summer', known perhaps by others as 'Tarnin Austa Celebrations'; through their own activities and festive tidings among their own kindred of Elves and friends.

Strange word continues to abound of some sort of Hobbit-group organizing a sort of 'Odd Socks Hat Party' also sometime in the coming week.  Curious things happening these days, as both Spring and Summer begin and end respectively, soon!
