Gathering Supplies, part 5
((Fifth part of the story))
The land surrounding Ost Forod was quiet, it was starting to grow dark when some shadows could be seen not far from Ost Forod. It was the group of Dwarves along with the Sabâj, leaving Ost Forod in secret. They had to sneak away, so no bandits would see them. Hopefully Ost Forod would be alright now when the bandits find out. The group had been updating Izbad Khlosi and the Sabâj troop he had with him about the situation. They were going cross country now, trying to stay out of sight of any bandit scout.
They fell one here and there on their way, it took them until the night was upon them. They stopped a few feet away fro ma small camp that was in their way. The only way to get to Forochel now. They decided to run to the camp and strike the bandits down quickly, before they would be ready or see them. Dhordur and Thorlaen ran first, with their weapons held high. Khlosi sent arrows into the camp, taking down two bandits. Dhordur stroke down two himself, while Thorlaen took down three. The other Sabâj scouts took down the rest while Holgi struggled a bit with one before he pushed his spear into the bandits chest, nailing him to a tree. Hlifa stood back during the fight, watching from nearby Khlosi.
Before they headed on, Holgi pulled out his spear again, taking it with him. The group went past the old ruin gate and made camp by a big rock a bit after. Dhordur took the first guard for the night while the others got some food and rest.
The morning after Dhordur awoke, noticing the Sabâj to be gone. The small group got some quick breakfast and headed on. Now it was just a small part to get to Taur Orthon, where a new mammoth and cart would be waiting for them..
