Delay

The night was still young when Fiontann awakened, he looked around to see everyone asleep, except for the guards and the patrols. Rothrian was asleep by his side and not wishing to disturb her sleep, he silently pushed himself some inches away and got up, with swift motions he put on his jacket and took his sword. His steps led him to the Eastern part of the wall, in the distance he could see some lights and hear some strange sounds, groans mostly with an occasional scream not loud enough to wake up the others. His gaze drifted to the South, where he saw some lights making their way to the West, an odd sight. The guard that he asked didn't know anything, "Almost all of the times the merchants and travelers spend their nights here." was his reply, a thing that everyone being would do, spend the night in Ost Guruth and leave with the first light. Yet there was a line of lights on the road, heading West, they must have been on the road, it was hard to calculate the distance in the night but the path they were following was similar to the path that the road forms.

He knew that he should know what that it was, without a delay he want to a trader and bought a dark blue cloak, then he wrote a note, which he sneakily put into Rogue's jacket as the man was sleeping near Anriett, a second note he put into Rothrian's fist. The first note had the instruction to Rogue to take one or two more people and head to Ost Cyrn, "Take one or two people and go to Ost Cyrn, you say that that place has many orcs in it. Go there and take a good look around and into it if you can, if you see something that shouldn't be the way it should tell me at once. Do not engage in meaningless fights." The second note to Rothrian had this "Send some people to the Last Bridge, send them there to scout and check how are things there, see if they can find any strange tracks on the road, then send another group to patrol as far as Naerost. I want to know what they have seen, any tracks, if there are orcs more than usually, prisoners, supplies, anything that should not be there! I will be back soon, I have something to do, I'll be safe!"

After the instructions were given, Fion put on the cloak and went out into the dark, he had to see what those lights were and where they were heading. His greatsword and crossbow were under the cloak to keep from side and he put some arrows into his belt. He had to be quiet and unseen, something hard for him but it had to be done. It could be that his suspicions were true...
