I shall not lie, for lying has never been a strong point of mine if I’m completely honest. Our journey to these lands has been far from easy, past difficult one might say, overwhelming. We even reached a point across the midway where we actually considered turning around on the spot and marching back home to Snowbourn. Well if I’m completely honest it was my suggestion, for Raegenhere seemed to be more than willing to resume the struggle and risk his life along the dangerous paths towards Eriador. I personally cannot argue for this was indeed a necessary peril. Raegenhere is my son, we are as close as bindweed in the summers heat we are, inseparable. Raegenhere joined the ranks of the Rohan military at the age of Sixteen, I was a proud man that day, but of course he had not a clue as to what he was getting himself into for his primary concern was to impress me his Father. Meghan his mother died when he was just a boy, Aldhelm my second stood with him also but Milawyn my daughter, well. She failed to show any care or consideration for her dying Mother for she left frequently only to return hours after she had passed, no doubt up to mischief or something dishonourable, even at a young age she was a disgrace.
-There were many lines after statement however they seem to have been scribbled out making them unreadable-
A curious and unknown sickness I was told, I don’t know what to make of it even now. Though death seems to be a familiar friend within out family now, for the reason we are bound for Eriador is to lay my second, Aldhelm, to rest. When I received word that he had died upon the road in an accident I lost myself for a moment. When Raegenhere discovered what had happened we at once made our own plans to set out ourselves. There was nothing for it, it had to be done. Aldhelm was a good son and a good man, his art was in sword craft and trade, we shall remember him always as the life and soul he was among us. So here we rest in Eregion, having fought and climbed, swam and crawled our way though unknown lands with a keen eye set upon Bree, where the three of us will be united once again.
