It was late in the afternoon when Fiontann woke up in the room of the Forsaken Inn, he looked around him at the messy room and smiled when he saw Rothrian by his side, the smile lasted only for some brief moments though, his mind focused on the task ahead, In Minas Eriol. With swift moves he got up and and got ready, he washed his face, put on his shoulder and hang the crossbow on his back, as well as the greatsword. Outside their room he saw Rogue, standing and smoking his pipe that made Fion smirk and shake his head, wondering if the man lost it. Some moments later Arthasdir and Sparrow came from their room too and the five people talked quietly about what was to be done. After that fast talk Fion went up for some breakfast.
The moon had started to take its place on the sky when the group assembled at the stable of the Forsaken Inn, Fiontann left the crossbow on Hedinn and took a single arrow and a dagger with him. They spoke again and decided that Fiontann and Rogue would climb on the hill and draw the goblins' attention so that the three would pass swiftly while those two were taking care of the creatures. They didn't lose any moment and climbed on the hill, quietly they walked around the camp and slided down from the other side. There they started clearing out the guards, their numbers were low, from 3 to 5, enough for those two to take out. They moved through the fort killing but the closer to the gate that the three were waiting the goblins were more and more.
After taking out the last group of few Fion cut the head of a goblin and got up on the highest spot of Minas Eriol and roared to get their attention. The goblins stopped their sounds and turned to look at him, snarling angrily when they say the head in his hand. Fion threw it to the other side, the head fell and rolled as far as the gate the others were waiting, signaling them. As the goblins ran Fion got down and rejoined Rogue, together they passed an opening and used the things to bar the entrance, after killing some more wargs the group met, they made sure that no one was wounded and it was heard...
A loud howling filled the air and made the five turn their heads to the north, upon a hill they saw a big grey Warg, it stood there sniffing the air and looking at them, they could feel its eyes burning with hatred on them and it disappeared. The group followed it but got ambushed and an arrow pierced Fion's left side, wargs and goblins surrounded them but the group managed to kill them and went on ahead. The moon was directly above them when they passed by a ruin, in it they could hear the wargs howling and growing at each other, all passed quietly past it and to the bridge and Fion went last. He stepped on a hole and the sudden movement made his wound sting and he grunted, the wargs heard it and ran! Luckily the entrance to the ruin was on the other side, so the five had some moments to run! They got on the other side of the bridge and cut the ropes before the wargs could reach them, some were trapped on it and fell and died and some got blocked on the other side.
All that running kept them busy and they saw the three guards late, three big orcs that guarded the entrance to the main fort. Fiontann leaned against the post of the bridge panting, Rothrian tied his wound but all this hurry tired him, he was in no condition to fight. The others fought fiercely against the orcs, they got badly hit but in the end they managed to prevail. Ahead of them now lies the big grey Warg and they are tired and wounded. What will happen only time will tell...
