I packed up as much as I could already and ate some of the Lembas I took with me. They had not noticed me waking up.
Looking around me I scouted for any signs of were we were and soon I figured out we were near the River Bruinen in the Trollshaws.
It was not long before the company awoke and breakfast started. Fiontann had rode out to scout ahead and I was just walking around.. Prepairing to depart.
One more piece of Lembas before we would head out...
I walked up on the hill to scout ahead followed by one of the girls from the company. She heard one of them tell me that there were Berries around and I should see if I could get some.
A childish girl who I guessed around the twenty years old. She was friends with Taala, one I came to know well. Or at least.. good enough...
I showed the girl a bush that had some of the eatable berries on them when I noticed horses approaching. To my notice it was Fiontann who had found an elf....
And let it be that this was not just any elf.... It was Khalis of the warband of Imlardis. One of the elves I befriended when I was recovering from my injuries in Rivendell a couple of months back. I was glad to see him again....
We talked shortly and then went back to the rest of the company and together we all rode towards Imlardis. Seeming Khalis wanted to talk to some of the members I took lead to make sure we would arrive safely.

We arrived about an hour later and it was as I first entered the valley all over again.
The cool breeze, the sound of birds and the relaxed atmosphere that hang around the valley overtook me.
The company was not custom to the rules of the valley concerning weapons so I rode ahead.
I left Aronath at the stables and Fang with Taala, who seemed to have quite a love for animals. Then I walked back to the camp to meet up with the company again. Some quick words were traded before I headed out myself to explore Imlardis.
After finding some respite within the valley I desided it was time to have my fathers dagger reforged. I walked over to the great forges of Imlardis where I spoke with the master smith.
He gladly accepted to re-forge my fathers dagger for free and went straight to work.
Seeming I had to wait for some time I thought it be best to grab my fishing pole and enjoy my stay.
Giggling.... that was what I heard from the sky darkened water in the night. There was no doupt that some of my companions were enjoying a swim in one of the smaller ponds. I also knew that one of them had to be with the group... so I called out for her.
Taala, as expected, responded and asked me to join. I hesitated but I agreed, after we head into the mountains it is going to be a while before I can take a swim again.
I laid my gear on the side and jumped it. Swimming around the corner I noticed Taala and the Berry girl standing on a small piece of land. I expected not to see Teleyn the way I did... but for Taala I was not supprised.
Fang was there too! He seemed to know how to enjoy himself and I was very happy to see my closest friend doing well.
There was another man who I saw just for a brief moment... Brammy I believe they call him. A bit of a perverted guy if you ask me but then again.. with those girls.... who would not be. I can not judge him for I have not personaly spoken with him yet.
That aside I saw how Teleyn ran after him through Imlardis while apperently forgetting to dress herself... but she seemed not to care.
I swam back to the small piece of land with Fang and laid down on it to rest. It was nice and peaceful.. I actually felt safe.
Then... Taala showed up. She sat down next to me and we had a nice conversation..
There is more to that girl that she lets shows, something I personally find very interesting to figure out.
Eventually all talks must end as my dagger was almost ready and I swam away.. Yet I have a feeling that I will get to know Taala and the others allot better before I return to Bree.

Journey of the Ranger {Part III} A valley of elves....
Submitted by Sigfread on September 3rd, 2014

I woke... early as always. Upon him small camp I gazed down at the larger one the company had set up. Two of them were awake... the others gained rest. The darkness prevented me from seeing who these two were but I cared not for it anyway.
