Journey of the Ranger {Part II} To the Mountains.....

Soon.
Very soon.

I shall depart from Bree-land once more to join Fiontann and various other members of the Bloody Dawn in a trip to the Misty Mountains.
Fang is all pumped up for it, even though he has to mis Naerna for a bit.
Aronath is also ready... My gear is packed.
I went out with another girl from the Dawn the other day... Taala was her name.
A good archer... perhaps better then she showed me at first....
After all... one must not play all their cards at first moment.
She was a nice lass though.. perhaps a bit simple in some matters but good at heart if you ask me.... So it seems to be with most Dawn members...

Departing from Bree won't be without trouble. There are still a few things left to do.

First of all. I went out with some Dawn members to take down some Brigands at Brigands watch. They have been raping and attacking people along the greenway for too long now.
We met at the Prancing pony where I told them of the matter. Fiontann, Deorgast and a hunter named Ivry went with me to do the job.

Once at their camp we made a plan of attack... Fiontann and Deorgast went in as Ivry and I laid down the rain on them... It all went well until a certain bird became in into the picture.
At the end we managed to overtake the camp and I got the information I wanted.

The Brigand leader was instructed by an Half orc at the South Guard ruins. A dangerous encampment filled with enemies and servants of the Eye....
I wish I had time to clear it out with a small group of companions but... there simply is no time...

Now, for this journey.
I am not yet sure what to expect upon my travel. Perhaps I might not even return. Who knows.....
But I am looking forward to it.
I never really felt settled back in Bree after my last journey.... I just wished I would have already been on the road...
And then there is that cave. I have not been back in the Misty Mountains since I went into that cave..... the creature that lived there... I still not know exactly what it was.
That day... my sword protected me for if I were to be unarmed, then I would already have died...
I do not know if it still dwells within the pass behind the Goblin caves. but perhaps we shall find that out soon enough.
I only know a name.... A name it coughed up like its throat was sore of smoke and ashes.....

Gollum....... Gollum.....
