We are on our way to the Misty Mountains, at this moment we are resting at the Bruinen Gorges, the trip so far was pleasant and safe apart from one fight we had.
The road through Chetwood was relaxing and safe, the air was refreshing and the company as it should. We were all moody and ready for everything, that pleases me.
The passing through Lone-lands was peaceful, too peaceful... So the orcs' ambush after the Last Bridge wasn't much of a surprise, they knew we would be ready for fight in their territory, but not outside. the men and Taala fought hard and we overwhelmed them, despite being fewer. We set up camp nearby and got some rest.
After that we marched to Bruinen Gorges where we currently are and slept for the night, the atmosphere is light, the only thing we hear is the rustling of the leaves and some howls in the distance. But, where we are is secure and the camp can easily be defended against any threat.
Tomorrow we shall reach Rivendel, we will be permit to stay two or three days there to rest and replenish our provisions and then we start the main course of our trip.
The only thing we need is to make the formations fast, before they overwhelm us and make us retreat some steps. If we do that fast nothing can beat us, nothing at all. Heavy units in the front, bows in the back.
