The Scarred Mentor
Written by Blince.
Blince sat upon the porch of his home, peering out at his Wife of whom was just showing her signs of pregnancy and was having her last training session with the children of the local village. As they continued, Everlyse began to tire, and had to stop the lesson.
Blince stood, and made his way out, gesturing for Eve to go and take a seat. The kids shied away at the view of Blince, being a massive, scarred monster- To them atleast. He picked up the wooden sword Eve had been using, and peered down at the children. One child, evidently confident went forward, and bravely slashed his blade at Blince.
With a quick raise and stomp of his foot, he brought the blade down, and to the ground. Out of the child's hand. And then he brought his sword to tap the boy's head, a soft 'Thunk!' being heard as he did.
"Dead." Blince said with a smirk, and the child eventually got the idea and made a dramatic groan before sprawling out on the floor in a very overzealous death.
This little game with the children continued, none of them managing to make a hit upon Blince, and each one playing along with the battle until time flew by, and each of the kids were picked up by their parents.
Everlyse hugged each child in farewell, and they all walked home happily. A few of the kids even wishing to hug Blince in goodbye.
Everlyse looked to Blince, and leaned up to give him a kiss.
"I told you you were going to be a great Father, Blince." She chirped to him.
"I already 'was' a Father, Love. But you're going to be a great Mother, those kids prove that." Blince said with a smirk. Finally ending the argument of whether Eve would make a good mother or not.
