It was a night a couple of weeks ago; I was on my first job as an bodyguard in my entire life. A maiden was getting hunted by some kind of bad guys, i don't know, the fact is that It was a hell of a day. Some crazy young woman tried to strike her with a knife. Glad that she failed, but I didn't notice that. The captain of her house was mad, and shouted against me while I was in shock. For worst, I notice later that one of her companions were fighting to the young assassin, and instead of give my help, I just questioned her if she was fine and needed help; she said that it was all on control... and she got stabbed on her abdomen. My shame and anger grew but quickly these disappeared, because i couldn't have an reason to reply. It was my fault after all.
But it was not that reason of why that night was very special to me. A young woman tried to pass to the hall that I was guarding, and as my duty of bodyguard, I tried to convince her to walk through other way... then i heard her voice when she complained. I tried to not get very excited, and I answer her calm. Then I just take off my hood, and she saw me. She was as surprised as me, both of us were so different since our last meeting, about three or four months ago.
After the maiden dismissed me for that day, we both went to our special place, an ruins near the town of Bree, in a high place when you can see the entire town. We were talking about the things that happened both of us for separated in that time, and an intense impulse started to beat my heart... I was very happy to see her alive and with good health, and when she turned to me and smiled, and the light of the moon lit her face... I was speechless , and the barrier that was holding my emotions broke in thousand pieces... with bravery and shame, I just... well, I confess my love to her... and everything went black.
I don't really remember the details of what happened next, but it was like a storm of emotions...sadness, despair, hope, happiness, all these things mixed in a melody of chaos and doubt as i never felt before. I tried to control me, but it was worthless... I thought that i was lost, until i felt a warm presence covered my chest and finally extended through all my body;my eyes started to respond again, and I saw her green eyes shining with incandescence, smiling to me as she was hugging me with her arms around my neck...
When our lips encountered, I close my eyes, and I saw a road of spines... i was passing trough there, with my feet covered in blood and dirt, my arms with sharp wounds and my shoulder with a great cut... and I saw a woman, a one with green eyes as her, but she was different: Her hair were long and white, and she was smiling mischievously... A force like never felt before pushed me through her, and our bodies were crushed like thousand glasses... and from the pieces flying through the sky, I saw two naked bodies glowing like a sun, lying on a huge petal of a rose, hugging together... I recognized her face... and mine.
After that, she said to me that she were going back to Evendim, in order of participating in an expedition... We gave each other another kiss before both of us went back to our homes... In that night, the same dream appeared once again... but it was an entire rose now, covering us with soft petals while we were sleeping with an smile, while we were both looking each other...
