They took the vote today and the punishment is more strange than I could ever imagine. They all voted that I should be punished. Then again, so did I. It's the punishment chosen that I find so weird.
Jeffner came up with the punishment when it was asked what it should be. Not a one wanted to see me whipped, for two reasons given throughout; the first reason is that not a one felt they could carry it out. Seems I got under the skin of everyone in this group and became sort of adopted by them all. The second reason, was that if I hadn't broke ranks, Old Scag would be dead now.
I know, you want to know what the punishment is, so I guess I should stop holding back and just tell you. I'm to be the new questioner. With my small frame, and child like face they think I'll get more information out of those they capture. I never knew this till now but the group doesn't just guard over this caravan but they also take in bounties on the side. I never gave it any mind when I saw one or two split from the group for a few days. I just thought that they were going to see family or deal with things like weapons or gear.
I wonder how I'll be at my new job...
