A scuffle in Bree (New Entry 2)

Hello little book. Today I think I may have gotten myself into something I don't know how to get out of. When I walked into the Prancing Pony today I nearly walked smack dab into a glaring match. This got my curiosity up so I followed the group when they moved to a quieter part of the Inn. I kept my distance not wanting to get in the way incase weapons were drawn as well as being able to slip away if caught. Sadly I was caught, but a scary woman in furs. I knew my weapons well but she looked liked she didn't play fair so I kept quiet and only watched. When suddenly one of the aggressors, you see there were two women trying to stand their ground against a man and a woman, to whom the lady in fur joined later. There were more standing about, I never understood their purpose, mayhap they were like me, only curious, though they stood quite close for such a simple thing. Suddenly the woman with the man spat on one of the women standing their ground. This both shocked and infuriated me. I took a bit of cloth from my pack and handed it to her. This simple act is what got me into trouble.

The scary fur lady turned to me and ordered me to leave. I asked her why so she raised her voice and ordered me to leave yet again. Perhaps it's my red hair but this upset me even more. Leave because I offered someone who was spat on a bit of cloth to clean it off. No I was NOT about to leave. I stood my ground, pled my case and got ignored for it. At least by the woman all in fur. The woman I handed the  cloth to asked my name and I gave it. The one thing I returned to or kept some variance of through all of my time on the run. It's a good name, it was my mother's name.

Soon the skirmish broke up and all went their separate ways. I did ask the man in black covered by a hood if the two women were bad news and all he said was they were very bad news. I hope this doesn't find it's way back to bite me, or worse kill me.
