Travel log: Off... to Bree!

*The writing is small and neat, printed carefully as if great time was taken over each word*

I hope I didn't upset Master Halson too much ... I didn't mean to shout... I mean? me?...shouting? But it was rather a shock, to find that Amorey and Tukko had left a few days ago for Bree, while I'd been sent to collect cloth in Michel Delving. I didn't really hear what he yelled at me as I grabbed my pack and ran out the door...

I just hope it wasn't... "And don't come back!"

Don't think I slowed down till the bounder at the Brandywine bridge caught my arm and wanted to know where the hurry was. I guess my laughing didn't help matter for him, and I had to convince him I wasn't going mad... at least, I don't think I am.... would I know? Interesting question..... Sharing my lunch seemed to help in the matter... No I'm sorry, I didn't have any ale to share.... yes, I'm a terrible hobbit, I let the side down all the more for him when he gets to the Perch then... I've heard it all.

It was afternoon by the time I could set off again.... I made sure to wait until I was out of the bounders sight before running again. Why the urgency you may ask?.... *A large ink spot has dried here* Why am I asking myself questions?.. To keep my thoughts straight, in case I forget again... Anyway.... I had to be somewhere, where I wasn't.... and that hurt.

Bree.... What can I say about Bree?

It's big.... full of people that make my neck hurt to look at them.... horses... watch out for them. I ended up walking next to the buildings, it seemed safer. I wandered for a while till I heard a voice I knew.. Miss Almonda and with her Miss Amorey... it was a good feeling to get rid of the lump on my chest, I'd had since talking with Master Halson. All was right now.

They showed me some of Bree, including a lovely park.... I couldn't climb the tree's, which was upsetting... oh, and we were being followed by a lanky who was rather too keen on learning people's business... when not trying to scare them with tales of a monster who changed it's form every time and I have no idea how it fed with it's teeth locking it's mouth shut....

Still... that was then, and this is now. There all sleeping, Almonda, Tukko and Amorey, as I write this. The door is secure and I can hear Tahitoa snoring upstairs.

Tomorrow is a new day, with all that it brings.
