Entry Two.

My mind settles, for I swore an oath, an oath to the Covenant, I am not a brother of the pact, this is my family now, and we are one force, and shall not be split, already we have been flooded with contracts, each assignment I complete, I become less the man I was, with each kill the compassion fades, I feel cold as a draw fear from those who oppose.

Me and Brenorn have been best friends for a long time now, yet since we set out together, he has become as much a brother to me than those who share this blood. We beat a man today, I won't lie, I felt guilt, but this was justice, and a honourless sellsword I may have become, but I know right from wrong, this man left a helpless woman injured, and for dead in the wilderness after stealing all her coin, our company found her but an hour or two from death, we saw her acheive vengence.

Though the act of punishment was gruesome, I now understand that the woman would have died and never known the bitter sweetness of justice being served, if it was not for us. I am content that I no longer am Tylan Hawthorn, heir to the lions, but I am a contributing brother of the Covenant of steel, and I am where.. I am ment to be.
