Historical Field Trip - Battle of Greenfields

Greenfields, today a playground for children and a grazing field for sheep, was also the home of a ferocious battle over 200 years ago. This was a time for hobbits to become heroes as they clashed with an invading force of goblin. As the locals know, you can still find arrow-heads from the battle buried in the soil... hidden reminders of the Battle of Greenfields.

A bustle of excitement could be heard as a gathering of finely dressed folk, of all shapes and sizes gathered in the centre of Staddle. The local Hobbits and merchants, finally clearing up on the late afternoon, looked on at the strange sight... though it was most certainly a meeting of some revelry, they wondered to its purpose and began gossiping quietly. ‘Twas not long before the crowd moved on, making their way toward Big Staddlemere, leaving the Hobbits to speak amongst themselves.

Grand Order – Second Anniversary Party

There was much coming and going around the village of Michel Delving, a number of dwarves had been seen and scarcely a room could be had at The Bird and Baby. Rumour had it there was to be a grand party, with music, dancing and a lavish feast... and fireworks like had not been seen in many a year. A good number of hobbits who considered themselves well-to-do had received handwritten invitations, but it was generally acknowledged that a larger number had been invited from as far as Buckland and even Bree.

Come one, come all! Love has come to Eriador and touched there's two blessed souls once more! Captain Isilorbor Ventris is to marry his lost love from Gondor, one Lady Lendes Beregorn on 18th of September at 8:00 PM ((UK time or Server time)) at the Bree-Land Homesteads of Westcomb at the stage. The after party will be held in the Merriment Kinship House at 5 Long-Street. All are welcome to come, save for those who come with hate in their hearts. We ask that you bring formal dressing and no weapons. We will have a set guard to remove your weapons and hold them until you deside to leave.
