The Hound of Vanimar thought it was a good lesson for Dunlendings when killing the son of the chieftain. Was he correct? Did he manage more than he looked for?

Whatever happens, they say Swans are vicious when angered.

Once Upon  a time, in the vast forest that once covered Middle-earth, and long ago, there was Silverfir. She was one of the race of the Ent, she was tall and slender and her bark was white and smooth, and her hair was silver moss cascading down her back. Silverfir was a marvellous musician.
