Here I am once again, in me old small house. I can’t sleep, my eyes are wider than a catfish’s eyes and my stomack emptier than the head of that fool Andold-I swear if he calls me an idiot again I’ll hang him upside down from the inn’s chandelier! I went by the bakery store today, but it closed earlier, couldn’t pick up any bread…eh, maybe if I throw some more words in here I’ll forget.

The Inn Of The Prancing Pony

Poetry

Gather around dear friends, and I'll tell you a tale.
Of what can befall a young hobbit, who's taken with ale.

My story takes place in the town of Bree
I'd gone seeking my fortune at The Prancing Pony
Pies, puddings and fishcakes I'd taken with me
To trade with Barliman for a reasonable fee.

Barliman protested 'Your price is too high'
'For fishcakes, puddings and your spectacular pies'
'If you're agreeable, I'd like to offer instead'

The door was as still.

It did not shift one bit, nor did anyone come inside. Quite an unusual fact for the Prancing Pony, taking in regard it was one of the few attractions found in Bree, if not the only one. Even stranger, one would think, since it was the rush hour. The inn was filled with the humming sound of speech, resembling a beehive. At least two dozens of travellers had walked through the threshold in the past hour, but now the doorknob seemed as if it had frozen in place for eternity.

A chance meeting..

I have been in Bree a few months.. there is much need here and while I have little in the way of coin, I have tried to help where I can. Chance took it recently while in the Prancing Pony I happened upon a Minstrel a Lady of Song and Harp..

I listened a good while, some of the melodies I recognised.. it was then I realised this was the Sister Drimmeth had spoken of. I waited till she was done and then enquired, it was not long before we were talking and upon revealing my friendship with Drimmeth her curiosity was peaked.

Dear diary,

A couple of days ago, I was at the Prancing Pony during the evening.

At some point I stood outside on my usual spot. I saw a man, and when he came closer to me I recognized Khandaris.

We went inside for a drink. We talked for some time, and had a few laughs.

Intoxication

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The cloud of black was lifted from her eyes as she groaned and rubbed her forehead, a terrible headache pumping pain into her skull as she remembered what had happened last night. She had been out drinking with a woman called "Sefa", and after spotting her sister, persuaded her to join the fun until they all had enough.
