Lothlorein

The Noldo stepped up the stone stairs. They were cold against her bare feet. She looked up. Golden leaves spread eternally, like lightning streams, along the sky. Under the canopy of white trees as tall as towers, she looked in front of her. Standing there, the Light of the Two Trees in her eyes, was a legend.

The mist was beginning to rise, with the dawn, from the forest floor of the Order's compound under the canopy of golden leaves.  Dressed in a thread-of-gold robe, the Order's grandmaster nearly blended into the surroundings as she walked through the mallorn trees.  Alkawen was looking for one of her more unique and beautiful messengers.
