Background
A Sindar of the Falathrim. Born on the Isle of Balar in the First Age after the fall of the Havens. He learned woodcraft and seamanship there, as well as the arts of warfare, serving in the armies of Círdan.
In the Second Age he lived in Harlindon and later Mithlond where he remained but for marching under Gil-galad in The War of the Last Alliance.
The Third Age saw Aithanar follow Círdan and the Dúnedain in the Battle of Fornost. When Círdan sent Galdor to Imladris, Aithanar traveled with him to provide protection along the journey. His duty discharged, he has decided to remain in Imladris for a time. There he renewed friendships with survivors of Gondolin whom he had met after its fall, and in time became a part of their house.
