| Outward Appearance | Darius is a young man of average statue. It is hard to estimate his age, but he seems to be in his late twenties. Darius looks healthy and strong.
It is clear Darius is a soldier because his posture is that of a well trained fighter. His disciplined and emotionless facial expression also imply military training. His voice is usually clear and loud, also a bit harsh and unfriendly.
When seen in uninhabited or dangerous areas Darius usually wears a simple scale armour that looks old and worn but well cared for. The armour seems to be purely functional.
In Towns and villages you can usually see him in a clean and well maintained soldier's hauberk that shows the colour of the Knights of Gondor. He bears the insignia of a simple foot soldier. |

Background
Darius has been raised to be a soldier since early childhood. Like his father, he believes every man has a destiny, and to fight is his. He hails from a wealthy farmer and merchant family but only had loose ties to them as he considered his comerades his family.
After the death of his wife he left Gondor and went north to serve his kingdom from afar, but once the way back to gondor was blocked and it was impossible to travel back, he started regretting his descision to leave.
Now he joined the Knights of Gondor, a group of Soldiers who were sent north to hold off the shadows and prevent Eriador from being overrun.
Darius is a bitter and hard man who has seen too much war and death in his life, despite his young age. He detests his new home in Bree-Land and is known among his comerades as a battle-hardened veteran who rarely shows emotion and does not seem to have a life other than warfare.
