Outward Appearance

The Hermit is a tall man, broad shouldered and with dark but greying hair. His eyes are a piercing green but reveal nothing of the man inside. His face seems battered and he bears a long scar from his left brow to near the bottom of his nose. The majority of his face is masked by a thick, unruly beard, a dark brown for the most part, but smarttered with a bit of grey. He appears to be a heavily muscled man, with a broad chest and well-built limbs, though he is not as fit as he used to be, and could probably be bested by a strong warrior of a younger age.

The Hermit plainly carries a sword by his side, a bow and quiver on his back as well as a hunting knife at his belt. All of these weapons are noticeably worn through use, and it would be natural to take it that he is well versed with all of his armaments. His garb appears, like his weapons, to be well worn but would still be of great help in a fight. The Hermit's attire also appears to be in the palette of the forest, that is darker greens and browns, with many furs woven into it.

If one were to observe the Hermit for a while, they would quickly notice that he appears always wary, rarely cheerful and even less commonly welcoming. When he is seen with company it is usually with other grim-faced Men with garb not unlike his own.
