Physical Appearance: Lovejoy stands around six foot one inches in height, supported by a respectable although by no means extravagant physique. Contrary to his age, he still has a significant amount of youthly vigour about him, bursting with energy and flattery; traits he often displays when discussing business with potential customers. To compliment his sprightly aura he is usually well-groomed, both in his long black hair and perfectly trimmed beard. His eyes are a light blue, said to grow brighter in the sunlight. There are undeniable signs of age about his face, however these only serve to compliment his chiselled features and natural rugged looks. Overall, he is a friendly fellow and does not shy away from conversation. Certainly someone you wouldn't mind sharing in a mug of ale with or, perhaps, make a purchase from.
Titles and Aliases: He is known only as Lovejoy, for there are very few who know him by his full name. This is something that he has gone to painstaking effort to achieve due to his sheer embarrassment of that which was bestowed upon him.
Education: Lovejoy received a basic level of education in his teenage years. He was apprenticed to one of the finest tinkers of Breeland who was quite taken by the boy. Background
Within the bustling streets of Bree-town, situated at the West Gate, there is a man by the name of Lovejoy who is renowned for his skill and craftsmanship of jewellery. Such is his talent that beings of all races from realms far and wide seek out his services and herald him a master of his trade.
It is rumoured that he was apprenticed to the most high-born of elven smiths, perhaps a descendant of greatness himself. These are absurdities, however, and could not be further from the mark. The truth of the matter was that Lovejoy is, very much, a simple man who lives in the township of Towerglan along with his faithful dog by the name of Rover.
Many within Bree know his name as he often spends his hours whiling away in the Prancing Pony, offering easy manners and flattery to those willing to share a mug of ale in his company. Lovejoy and Rover often travel, as is the nature of his business. But should you happen to cross this charming tinker on the street, be sure to give greetings; you shall be well received.
