Nindis is  of the Silvan of Lothlorien. She lived by the mallorn. Her friendships brought her much to tell and much sorrow as well. 

Nindis was in the company of Amroth and Nimrodel who left Lothlorien to sail into the West. Nindis stayed and lingered with Nimrodel by the shores of Gilrain. After losing Nimrodel's trail, the elves lingered and kept on searching for her still and were scattered... Yet Nindis found a few of her friends and they  found the path to Dol Amroth where she met Children of the Night. Her sword Nimgilloth is also forged and gifted to her in Dol Amroth.

Desperate at heart, she returned back to Lothlorien where she beheld the Light through the Lady. 

Working in Galadriel's Garden, Nindis learned the lore of the stars and leaves and heard much that was told of the elder days in the West.
