A young man, no more than twenty, with a squirrley, roughened look about him. He is rather thin and gaunt looking, better suited for swinging a shovel than a sword, though he carries a bow for hunting. Patchy stubble dots his jaw, and is dark hair is stringy and hangs in his eyes. His hands are rough, with dirt often underneath his nails. His clothing is threadbare and patched multiple times.

He tends to have a sarcastic demeanor, and his mouth often gets him into trouble. His mixed Dunlending and Rohirrim heritage have gotten him shunned from both, and has prompted a stern stubborness in him, and a desire to prove his worth.
