Background
Born in a village that is snugged in the thick woods near the river Bruinen in an area known simply as 'the Angle'. It is hidden land between the ruins of Eregion and the safety of Rivendell, one of the last strongholds of the Dunedain. She was raised an only child of her mother, Calithiliel, a healer of some renown. Her father Torchanar was a ranger and often gone for long periods of time.
Tatharnith was long an apprentice of her mother and other healers, making journeys into the wild to gather herbs that were difficult to grow in domestic gardens. Survival skills were mother's milk to the Dunedain, though many would never wander the wilds as the elite rangers, they were necessary. She learned to use a bow for hunting when it was needed, a sword and axe for defense but her passions lay in learning. During one of those excursions, her mother and a few others were killed in an orc ambush, proving once more the precarious danger of the world outside the village walls.
A bright eyed young woman, curious about the world and her kin's place in it, she enjoys nothing more than wandering the ruins and studying the crumbling parchments from the past. Her skills as a healer keep her busy, especially now in the rise of war in the north as she has been sent to Esteldin to aid the Rangers. Much to her father's dismay.
