| Outward Appearance | A bulky, broad shouldered dwarf standing an inch taller than most of his kin, his most striking feature would be the dark tone of his wild, but short beard of which Wardnar is nontheless most proud. His eyes bear the dark of many unslept nights in service as a guard of Ered Luin. A smile can more often than not be found on this dwarf's face, if not out of elf-mocking it will generally be a genuine smile, as Wardnar bears no grudge against most races until they prove unworthy in his own eyes. A single scar running down his forehead and ending down his eyebrow bears witness that this dwarrow has seen combat, even if his beard doesn't look like its seen many campaigns. |

Background
Born to Fangnar, son of Kildnar, of the Longbeards, Wardnar was given birth to in Thorin's Hall in Ered Luin. His father was a soldier who rose in the ranks of the dwarves of the blue mountains and would share his knowledge of war with his son. His son would have a relatively carefree childhood though harsh, disciplined and spartan in nature, his education gave him knowledge and skill in the fashioning of arms and armor aswell as geography, history and economy from his educated uncle, since part of the family was connected to the higher tiers of dwarven hierarchy. As a teen, Wardnar continued to further his studies and practice of arms. becoming skilled in the spear, the sword and the axe, he also developed a taste for fine weed from the shire and excellent brews from the blue mountains, this and his tolerance for other races combined with his knowledge of the common tongue and a little in others gave him reason to travel to the Shire and Bree-land, where he remained spending the coin he earned as a smithy and soldier, doing odd-jobs and knowing the other races of Middle-earth. All would change when the forces of the dark lord began to move and plot against the free peoples, this greatly concerned Wardnar, who understood a little about the enemy and how it corrupts other kin.
Now Wardnar would take it upon himself to oppose the growing reach of the darkness by enlisting in the Blue Mountains Regiment and protect his homeland.
