Nalokha, a witch whos purpose is currently unknown. Though I myself, Anythilia Thorondial, do not know her well, my encounters have given me knowledge of how to avoid some of her deadly tricks.
Encounter 1 - North of Bree
I was hunting for her, looking for revenge against her crimes. (Apparent and attempted murder on many) Eventually after long hours I was about to give in, though suddenly, as if by magic, there she was! As she stood there I looked at her briefly, then carried on walking, trying to watch her without her noticing. As I turned back to where she was, I noticed she was walking away, out of Bree's north gate. Following her carefully, I was accompanied by Eomere (A fellow Herald) who must also have been watching Nalokha. We followed her carefully, until we found her in the middle of a small dwelling, filled with vicious boars. Suddenly Nalokha turned to confront us, she yelled and then waited, grinning. Me and Eomere decided to engage combat, we couldn't leave now! We started battling and battling, but our attempts were futile. Shortly after I decided to get help, I called for backup, reinforcements, anybody. Luckily Gorvelar (Another Herald) was nearby and came to help, but we still couldn't defeat her! We took it upon ourselves to get more enforcers, I landed an arrow in Nalokhas left shoulder and ran for help. I yelled and yelled but this time nobody came, until Lolisle (Once again, a Herald) and her friend whos name I do not know came, but by then it was too late...
Craftily Nalokha had made a flash of light so light nobody could see but her, Eomere and Gorvelar were blind in the flash, yet me, Lolisle and her friend could still see. Knowing where Nalokha would flee to, we tailed her, there she became surrounded by me, Lolisle, Lolisle's friend and Eomere and Gorvelar - who came once the flash cleared - but we had lost already. Nalokha cackled viciously, dark mist surrounded her and she suddenly vanishes, leaving burnt grass. I touched the grass and felt cold and eerie, then a crow in the tree called out, and dropped a feather. Upon feeling the feather I felt the same as I did when I touched the grass, something wasn't right... I knew Nalokha was the crow, yet I was so wrong as I was about to find out in my next encounter...
Encounter 2 - Needlehole in The Shire
This was my fatal mistake... Nalokha had invited me to join her in Needlehole, by a dwarven bridge crossing a river leading to a bog. Knowing something bad would happen, I invited Lolisle to come, which she gladly accepted. Once we arrived I told Lolisle to hide, since Nalokha warned me to come alone. Me and Nalokha talked, she mentioned Turgur (My Kinleader) and how she was his paid assasin. How she would cause trouble so he could solve it, how he could get stabbed by Nalokha so Nalokha looked like the evil one, not Turgur. After being driven insane by her mind games, I left on my horse. But suddenly something wasn't right, I needed to hear more...
After informing Lolisle of what Nalokha had told me, we turned around to talk to Nalokha agin. She grasped something in her hand and my curiosity overtook me, I had to know what was inside. She told me if I wanted to know I would have to come to the bog outside Needlehole, foolishly I accepted. There she handed me the thing, it was a blue jewel. She told me to look inside the jewel, and I did... I took a hard stare in, this was my downfall. I asked her "What does it mean?" still staring into the jewel, then she spoke, drawing her staff "That you are a liar and a fool!" where she proceeded to stab me. Unfortunately she was succesful, yet my armour absorbed most of the blow, only making a small wound in my stomache. I tried to attack her with my daggers, yet my efforts were futile, as she dodged. Giving her a hard stare down, she grinned "This wound means nothing, Nalokha!" I yelled at her. Suddenly I felt a horrible pain in my mind, my muscles failed and my mind went hazy, I could talk but that was all, black ooze came from the wound and I was horrified and in pain. I told Lolisle to help me out of here and she carried me away in a hurry, yet Nalokha did nothing but watch.
Finally I was back at the kinhouse, awaiting a healer. Apparently it was incurable, yet I drank Elronds special medicine just to keep me going. Soon an odd healer came, she cleaned the wound of ooze, yet claimed I would never fully heal. She claimed I wasn't stabbed with poison like I thought, but drake blood. A couple of days later after she left I had a burst of recoverment, yet still kept drinking medicine just to keep my strength. Sometimes I still feel I will die of the drake blood, yet only time shall tell.
