News from the Front-Line!

Orcs, Wargs, Trolls and horrors of elder days have come down the Hills of Angmar and they come along with great machines to lay waste upon Eriador. By all the shadow that holds these lands there was yet light that warned those who fought in the Eldar days, warned those who might yet arise one time in power.

The Eldar host moved out from Imladris on an Evening and came upon Ost Guruth, where they gathered and roamed many a day the lands until at last they arrived at Lin Giliath, an elven refuge at the south end of the North Downs. The elves brought forth their mightiest veterans to fight the Shadow. The fabled Noldor of Vanimar stand under order of Lord Anglachelm and the Order of the Hammer, while the warden of the havens under Curugirion organize the happenings on the battlefield. The Laiquendi Order] send their bows, the [[Warband of Imladris their swords.
The Mysterious rangers of the north have gathered aswell, safe-guarding the area with their high knowledge of terrain and enemy. And many volunteers have come aswell to forge the bonds of old a new, standing together in the field of battle as it once was. Such as the wise Galvathalion, brave men as Angelnarth and the infamous Avar Minyelaire, have taken up the blade.

Now it came to pass, that after many days of deepest direness, the Host has achieved victory at the dark Dol Dinen! Under the order of Targos, Istuir and Minyelaire, the enemy was routed and their outer camp, tents, rations, catapults and towers set aflame. High towers the steam and smoke, spire on spire, far to be seen. This successful attack for the Free Peoples will set the enemy far behind his preparations. A joyful day in a dark time.
