Now when you stroll and walk around
Just pause and ponder at the ground
And give a thought to both your feet
They're more than bits of hairy meat
Your feet will take your everywhere
Far from the comfort of your chair
You'll walk across the countryside
And out the bounds, and far and wide
They feel the touch of tender grass
Of well-tilled earth and country paths
They wade in streams as water flows
You feel the rush between your toes
But more than walking feet will do
They hop and skip and jump for you
And when you ever get the chance
You use your feet to have a dance
At time of work, or when you play
You use your feet throughout the day
Across this green and pleasant land
They take your weight each time you stand
From tiny seeds tall trees can grow
So mighty deeds come from your toes
But unlike roots beneath those trees
Our feet are there to set us free
Now see the old 'uns in the chairs
Their feet are dangling in the air
Although it's good for feet to rest
Walking is what your feet do best
The Lankyshanks they have their shoes
And horses too, they have their hooves
But Hobbit's feet are pure and bare
We let them feel the breath of air
They may be small and oft forgot
Without them you'd be in a spot
But feet achieve so many things
So hail the feet, the joy they bring!
