Chronicle Summary

"It is so beautiful... it shines like just a few can do it,

a natural beauty hanging from your neck"

Chronicle Content

Polish, cut, physical work, scouting, some drops of sweat and broken dreams, digging, and the result is a gem.  Gems have different shapes, colours, sizes, amount of shininess (becouse some are more opaque than others, but that is meant to be like that), and of course; status.  Becouse it is not the same if we talk about a diamond that if we refer to an opal,  Another things that makes a difference is the neck or skin where we can find that gem.  With this I mean that is important to consider the skin or neck that will show the gem to the world.

Gems are created after many years have passed.  According to records found in that library where the scholars at Bree reunite and where you can see curious people visiting those scholars, the amount of time needed for the creation of a gem is something they are still trying to figure out, but they do know that good gems need time to be created.

A natural beauty.  Many times I have heard that a certain person, or even myself, is refered to be as a jewel.  Jewels come in different colours, sizes and definitely they give the person who is wearing them a certain flavour.  Or maybe the flavour is the one that person gives to that certain jewel.  Yes, that would be the most wise thing to think becouse even if a gem turns to be fake, the flavour that will give to a person, will remain. So, maybe the important element is the person, not the gem after all.

Fake.  I know many people won't wear a fake jewel if they know it is fake, the reasons can be from having the conviction that the shine is not good, or becouse of their false moral.  In the balls you can see the ladies  -both young or old-  wearing jewels.  But their false thoughts make them believe that a person worth is directly related to the fact of how big is their wealth (taking about gold), how exquisite the appeal of that person is, and of course what that person is wearing; clothes and jewels.  People who think like this make me laugh.  I cant help it.  Absurdity, silliness and a false sense of morality, are the perfect ingredients for a good laugh at people who want to humiliate other persons.  So, what is worse, a fake jewel or a fake person?  I think the answer for that is easy to know.

"Will you stay with me as we walk in the fields of diamonds?"
