The Shadow Of The Mountains

I've been in the strange place of loving LOTRO for many years but rarely ever playing it. Herrig was an attempt to address this and finally step into a game that's expanded Tolkien's world with such care and creativity. But still I found myself shy of actually meeting and roleplaying with others.

The adventures I've written then maybe reflect this. Middle-Earth in the LOTR at end of the third age seems a largely empty land, characters travel great distances alone and find wonder in things that might be skipped over in more 'high-fantasy' tales.

Herrig's story is starting to emerge, one I hope I'll get a chance to follow. But his journey, like my own in LOTRO, seems a lonesome one, filled with reminiscence and reflection as he discovers what's out there. If you take the time to read, then I hope you'll enjoy :)
