Green was a good choice! The house feels lighter now! Two stray cats have decided to move in, it's nice to have company. I ordered the hinges, though I don't have much faith in that man...
The kitchen is my next goal. I got to get it functioning. Otherwise, I may run out of money on the amount Butterbur is charging for meals! He has some good whiskey, I am going to buy a couple of bottles. I found some of father's old clothes in the trunk. They are in surprisingly good condition. I am not sure what to do with them...give them to the needy in Beggar's Alley? I haven't faced the bed yet...I know I need to, I can't keep sleeping on the floor forever.
I wish Colen were here....I keep hearing his voice, telling that I must face and deal with what happened...I can't...not yet.

It happened again...the nightmare. I am sitting in front of the dying fire watching the flames. I won't sleep anymore tonight...the nightmare won't leave my mind. I keep seeing their evil, sneering, faces when I close my eyes. I wish I could just forget and go home.
