Mereth (feast)
Feasting is a popular tradition in Mirkwood that helps people relax before a hard week. It involves entering an inn, or even just a clearing, and talking to fellow patrons, enjoying food and drinks together, and leaving worries outside.
An opportunity for introductions and getting to know one another better.
(( Topics of war, fear, destruction, and politics of the setting are acceptable. You may treat this event as being in the Third Age.))
Anyone in a good mood is welcome at the festival; merchants, weary warriors, locals, and even travelers. Pets are allowed inside, but violence or theft must take place outside during a spar.
A window of peace, rest, and provisions in the Dourstocks's finest (and only) establishment--here is a chance to celebrate!
Mirkwood Moondays is well-suited for individuals who possess knowledge and interest in role-playing as a character based in Mirkwood. It provides an opportunity for both newcomers and those looking to revive their existing characters.
The aim of this event is to find, foster, and enable more justifications for community role-playing.
My attention will be on specific individuals, whether they are Middle Earth adventurers, traders, travelers, or regular people who can interact in a calm, civilized environment.
