Hanhi

The hanhi flies to Lumi-mâ in summer, but then wings its way south in winter. Ris's brother Juvven used to tease her about her singing by calling her Hanhi, but now she is considering taking it as an animal-name, since it is loud, boisterous, clumsy, and wears out its welcome, and because it lives both in her northern homeland and her new southern home. Also because it seems harmless but is actually fierce and fearless when cornered, or when defending its family.
