Crawling vines
Vines crawling up the side of a tree can be beautiful, and some of their leaves, berries, and blossoms have medicinal use for treating hounds or Men, but they can also cause the death of the tree they cling to. While scouting or wandering the Chetwood, the Woodmen might from time to time harvest some vines, or cut some down when they threaten to overgrow and kill the trees on which they cling and feed.
Drawn for #inktober (thankfully ending now!) with Staedtler and Tombow pens on a Canson mixed media sketchbook. See the full-sized version and a reference image.
