Shamukh Khazad,
Just writing down my memories before I forget them as I already seems to have forgotten a lot. So let's pick up what I still remember from what happened after I got promoted to Zabad in the Regiment by Uzbad Alhvar.
First of all I remember that we received a raven from Rangers that Annuminas was in danger of being overrun and they requested support as soon as possible. So Uzbad Alhvar gathered all the available Zabads & Dumuls of the regiment who were not on duty and off we went!

It was a long and exhausting journey but we managed to make it in time! The ranges still held firm although they had a lot of victims. We ourself proved that we were an experienced regiment and managed to clean out Annuminas so that the rangers are back in control of this historical location!

Oooh yes! This was a glorious day for the Regiment No casualties on our side and we increased our reputation! Now... hmm... let me think, what else was there. Oh, I remember also a nice moment! We came back from a smaller mission somewhere in the Shire, I already forgot what it was about, but it was a warm day with lot's of walking. So I ordered my companion to take a small break on top of the hill to be aware of foes! Then suddenly a hobbit passed by and he asked if he could make a drawing of us as you can see below! This is a drawing that is almost perfect. And luckily you don't see my facial expression when I am about to attack the pie!

However if I thought these were my only duties as an officer I was completely wrong! They made me the Zabad, officer of the Paperworks, so I have to attend meetings, take notes and write down Marching Notes and get them copied and attach them to our ravens! Can you imagine what it is to write hundreds of copies and then attach them to these ravens?!? I couldn't either untill I did it for the first time, sigh! And the noise that comes up with all these ravens! Oh well, someone needs to do it...

And then finally it was there... THE DAY that all other officers were on duty and I was the only available Zabad at that moment. It was the day that I really had to take the plunge and take the lead! Oh dear, I have exercised my drill lines, wrote notes on what I should not forget on uniform inspections, What I should let the soldiers perform, pushups, squats, ... Stagefright all over! But then the moment arrived and it all went smoothly... the notes I made! I didn't need them at all! The drill went smoothly and as a reward I invited the bunch over for a good meal and drink!!!

So conclusion, being an officer at the Regiment ain't bad! Not bad at all! Except for those noisy ravens! I still need to find a way to handle them more efficiently. Luckily I have also my assistant Duizir who I can rely on during this. Not that it becomes easier but at least the pain is shared!
Ok, now these memories are written down, I am sure I will not forget them anymore! Only to remember where the scroll is stored later on.
