This official document hereby displays the point of sale on the 5th of Thrimidge between two parties: Alf Dandy and Khazim Basara, both enterprising folk of Bree-town. Enclosed within this parchment are the following details of the mercantile contract:
Purchased by Mr. Basara from Mr. Dandy:
- Ten bolts of worsted wool
- Five bolts of Flax linen
- Two paring knives
- One pricking awl
- One shoe-maker's mitten
The total amount of this purchase: One-hundred and six silver coins, delivered by coach upon the 4th of Thrimidge at dawn. Items purchased were acquired in-person by Mr. Basara upon the same day as the sun set.
Purchased by Mr. Dandy from Mr. Basara:
- Three full leather aprons
- Four felt hats
- One dark blue dress of finer wear, embroidered with patterns of gold
The total amount of this purcahse: One-hundred and seventy-two silver coins, delivered in-person by Mr. Dandy upon the 3rd of Thrimidge at noon. Items purchased were acquired by an apprentice, Jack Springleaf of Combe, upon the 4th of Thrimidge at dawn with the arrival of Mr. Basara upon the Dandy establishment.
All parties have agreed to the amounts, totals and listed items in this point of sale, and have safely conducted good business that will benefit the whole of Bree-town. This document hereby solidifies permanently the transactions made from the 3rd of Thrimidge at noon to the 4th of Thrimidge in the evening when the last exchange took place. Under no circumstances will either party dispute these identities, lists and totals without an investigation of fraudulent activity by the representative guilds of each party listed in this contract.
