Background
Theme song - A Long Day of Vengeance
Eacnung was likely born around 2998 T.A. in one of the numerous goblin slave pens of the Misty Mountains where her family had been held captive.
Her time in the slave pens was thankfully short, yet the same could not be said for her mother, who died to protect her. Beurnia, a Hobbit Guardian, during one of her goblin-exterminating excursions, heard the roar of Eacnung's mother and raced to the scene . Witnessing the brutal demise of Eacnung's mother deeply affected the Hobbit so much that Beurnia silently vowed to teach the orphan all the wondrous ways to avenge her mother....
Other information:
~ Around 3000 T.A. Eacnung's adopted sisters, Beurnia and the Elf Hunter, Borniel, take her to meet their mentor, Ngolwen, the Rune-Keeper Elf. Ngolwen gives the Skin Changer a sadly unimaginative name Brynja, Norse for "Dark".
~ In the spring of 3003 T.A. - Brynja is introduced to Captain Agathinzil who adopts her and promptly renames her Eacnung, Saxon for "Bear's Daughter", in honour of her heritage.
~ Like her adopted sisters, all three share an exceptionally strong hatred for goblins.
~ Her Hobbit sister's love for hunting wild game is a source of lively dispute with Eacnung, who inherited the ability to converse with animals.
~ She is one of Captain Agathinzil's Nardûaninzil. Her title Ugruinzil means "The Flower of Sorrow".
