Soon after that battle I have finally returned to the island. The images of fallen Nethillon and Iarnuil were still flashing in my mind. I felt that my body was shaking, I felt so broken and felt even more proud of my family. There was one more important task upon me as I have promised Araithil to find and talk to our mother about everything that happened. There was even one more thing that I would never forget. I promised Nethillon to do something, and that was my priority then. I stepped off the ship and stood upon the docks. In the same spot I always talked with Nethillon, the very spot where he told me so many important things. I felt my eyes were watering again. Sadness filled me as I focused my thoughts on him once again and then it moved towards Iarnuil's sacrifice. I heard footsteps behind me and so I turned around to see a woman. There was something familiar in her but I couldn't see what was it at first. She talked with me for a while and checked on me. Then I recognized her. It was the ranger that I met right before leaving to that blasted task. And the same one I was about to look for. She asked me about my brothers. Firstly, I mentioned Araithil. As he was the only one to made it alive from here apart from me. I tried to change the subject then but she kept asking. I felt that I was breaking even more when I told her. Iarnuil... sacrificed himself to save the others. And finally... Nethillon. I passed what I was asked to to her when I mentioned his name. She looked at me calmly but I could swear that she was both as sad and worried as I was. Then I told her that I am not going to give up on them. I wanted to bring my brothers back. She seemed like she wanted to support me in this, even if the new garrison captain was against it. That ranger... she was the only one that understood. She talked with that blasted man when I finally met my mother. She was devastated at the news. I tried to cheer her up a bit, but she moved away. I guess she just wanted to stay alone. Not long after we travelled to the main land.
We had that brief meeting with setting up a plan of rescue. I have learned that at least one of my brothers was still alive and so we started the preparations for the operation. I kept wondering why so many people wanted to help like... our own allies gave up on helping and cared only about themselves. But those people from Dol Amroth... they actually helped. Did they know my brothers better than I thought? All that mattered at that moment was to bring them back.
