We separated the army into three groups. Two of them backed off as the first one was to force the gate reinforcements and push back the orcs enough for the others to ride in. I joined the first group and soon we rode into the thrill of battle. First volley of enemy's arrows reached us as we were close to the city. Some of us fell while the rest including myself kept riding towards the gate ruins and barricades. I shot one of my first arrows with a bit of flame setting the barricade on fire then afterwards followed four other soldiers into the city. I was swinging my sword towards the swarming enemies with no signs of tiring in my sword arm. Adrenaline was so high at that moment. Many of those that were riding beside me fell before my eyes. We cleared the gate area and I joined the others soon, we needed to prepare for the attack against the position we just secured. The orcs have regrouped soon enough and reunited with the battle trolls they soon came upon us. We regrouped as well and rushed towards them I looked at one of the soldiers I knew. He always stood guarding the gate to the third circle of the city. We then charged together and soon stood between a group of enemies and a battle troll. I glanced at the guard once again and as he did the same we understood what to do. We charged towards the battle troll luring it closer to the one of the last small groups of orcs. Soon we both turned to the sides forcing the troll to strike his allies. As they fell we glanced around the battlefield. The Position was clear. We moved back to regroup with the others and then waited for the reinforcements from The White City. We had hope for the Osgiliath to be reclaimed. The evening took us prepared when the sky began to darken.
