Homeward!
Although tired and weary, Gamferth's spirit had been soaring ever since entering the Gravenwood. The familiar landmarks that had printed themselves into his memory the most during his journey, as the first steps of them had been the most exciting, and which now on his return served to remind him just how close to home he had come with his beloved company.
Sigefaest's ears perk up hearing the conversation between the two Men, and hearing his friend's enthusiastic snorts, he looks at Jack, hoofing the ground and neighing eagerly, almost as if challenging Jack to a race.
Gamferth's eyes shine with excitement, and after a hearty laugh he bids his mighty steed to pick up the speed.
"Aye, my dear, let us ride! This night we will feast with the Horse-lords once again! Forth, Sigefaest, forth! Stop not for Orc or Dunlending! We make now for the Gap!"
