"We are almost out of the Gravenwood, dear Brynleigh." Gamferth suddenly speaks after a seemingly long period of silence, a smile playing upon his bearded face.
"We will reach the Gap in an hour or so if we hurry. What say you, are you hale enough to continue and ride fast so we might reach the safety of Forthbrond and stay the night among friends, or shall we camp yet here in Gravenwood and tomorrow ride straight for fair Rohan?"
He looks at her with an ever more excited and almost youthful face, no doubt brought on by the prospect of soon reaching the fields of home.
