Argewyn, The story of her life. Chapter one. Becoming.

Chapter one, Becoming.

It was a fierce and cold winter. I can still hear the snow cracking underneath my feets as we walked in the wilderness. In front of me, was a large man, covered in a brown thick cloak wich was needed to protect him against the chill winds. Too bad for me, I did not had such warm cloak, I only had some thin clothing I made myself before we left home. And I say 'we left home' Because the man in front of me, is known as my father. The man I now still hate till the bottom of my heart.
He turned around, and the vile green eyes underneath his hood told me to walk faster. How cold he expect me to keep up with him? I was only Eleven years old, Almost frozen to death, while he stayed warm, in perfect condition. But I knew I had to try, I could not disappoint the man who took me on his journey, even if it was because my mother wanted it so badly.

My Father, was a terrible man in my eyes back then. He was old yes, but terrible. Mom says he hates me so much because I am a girl, and in his eyes, Girls are the weakest of all kinds. Though i should be happy now, he taught me to be strong, to care for myself, and to survive. My father's appearance was one you could easly forget, it was not more then a old man. His  long grey hair, or what was left from it, was neatly put behind his ears. and the signs of old were clearly visible on his face. The only thing no one seems to forget are his eyes, Those green sharp eyes.

The same evening my father made us a campfire. Not that the warmth did matter, the cold always knew a way to crawl into your cloths. My father roasted a carcass of a rabbit above the fire, and when it was done, he ate it by himself. I looked at my hands wich were holding a few sour winter berries.
'You need to hunt for yourself.' He said then. and the look on his face remained the same as ever, Cold.
How did I even survived? I wish I knew. When we reached the southern gate of bree, I collapsed from the hunger and cold. My father ignored it and he walked away from me. Within the snow storm I saw him disappear. Then suddenly my vision became blocked, not by snow, but legs.
I tried to look up and I think it was a woman, Or no...an Elfen woman. She bent over me and offered me a piece of bread. I did not care who the woman was, but I took the chance and ate it like I never ate before, still lying in the cold and wet snow.
I looked up again, but the woman was no more. I only heard a voice in the Distance.
'Bear with it, my child, as for one day you will become what he wants you to be'

My name is Argewyn, and within these files, I will tell you my story.
