The Tailor who saw (too much) - II

in

Aeruthuil stares away towards the Town of Bree as he stands on the edge of a clearing. Stars fading around him and the other men behind him in the camp. Just a few feet away from him, a young woman sleeps in his tent. He wasn't quite sure what to do with her than to offer Sareva a place to stay the night. Whether it was to give her a certain sense of safety, or to take away his own worries, he wasn't quite sure about.

''We cannot have her linger here.'' Daersulval growled at him. Aeruthuil raises his brows and turns to look at the man, ''You brought her here, besides, if there are people causing harm within these woods I would like to know of it.'' Aeruthuil says as he vaguely gestures towards the Town further up, ''I don't care for what happens in Bree, the Watchers can take care of that. She will not be staying long, do not worry. She will want to go back home, there where she knows life best. The least we can do is offer her food and shelter, for when she may need it.''
Daersulval nods to him, ''You are right, I know. Forgive me for doubting. I will be taking the others for a hunt, our provisions are running dry.'' The stern man bows his head to Aeruthuil and walks away, gathering some of the others.

Aeruthuil sighs, shaking his head as he finds himself alone at the clearing again, his eyes turning back towards the tent in worry. ''What is it you're not telling me.. What is it that you saw..'' He mutters quietly, frowning as he spoke.
