Company of the East Road forms

((It is time to set a core-plot for our kinship. Here it is. Because it appears that many outsiders (aswell as some of kinsmen) take the kinship as an actual IC business company, I plan to play along. It is, indeed, a caravan trail along the East Road, from Dale to the Grey Havens. However, because I do not want to bind anyone for weeks on eand to one place to play their part - yet I want to offer everyone a chance to make themselves notable and important if they so wish, I have formed a chain of delivery.))

"May my name be Catrena Fendey. It sounds suitable for a merchant. It was not always my name, neither did I always dwell in Dale, as I do now. I have travelled along the East Road for years. But now I'm settled for the time being in this corner of land, where the map that is known to me ends. Behind it's borders, in the east, lays the unknown land of Rhun. The land of Easterlings and their many mysteries. Oh, how I hate the world of Rhun and it's people! Now I intend to make money out of their demise!"
"The war is breaking the borders of realms. Raids move from here to there, pillaging, killing, looting. I will make sure that I get my share of the loot from those unknown lands. The most precious and rare of the kind. I will likely have to hire a few good men to do my part of the raiding for me, but so I will. And on top of that, there are always the miserable refugees. I do not believe their genuine intent at all, neither do I have to. I will offer them a spoonfull of honey, a promise of a better life, in exchange of their betrayal agaisnt their own homeland. They will bring me what I want from beyond the border."

"Of the precious and rare I will pick the most, and send them to realms where such things are never before seen or imagined. They will find their worth in coin, along the East Road in the West.  I've found fortune and misfortune along it. I know the world that surrounds that road, and the many smaller worlds within that world, the people, the riches and the dangers."

"Elves of Mirkwood may deliver the cargo through their realm. For a small fee I assume that they agree, for they do not want anyone to step over their own invisible boundaries in those woods.

In the Misty Mountains roam the tall and broad Beornings. In their hands any precious goods will be safe from harm. Perhaps some of them agreed on delivery over the peaks?

Trollshaws inhabits many creatures, ordinary and strange. Will it be the elves again, who make the next loop of the chain? Will they carry my goods to the realm of men once more?

The Eglain of the Lone-lands have many sorrows. Is there anyoen among them who cares for trade, and will escort the cargo across the deserted land?

Bree-land, my dear Bree-land! I so miss and loathe you! You wont disappoint me! On the marketplace I will sell anything for profit, if the salesman know his work, and buy anything cheap from the desperate. There is the place to unload and to restock cargo. What goods do you have, that would be worth taking back, all the way to Dale? Hardly anything...

But Shire! The land of delicasies! Who could resist your temptations? I doubt anone could, so perhaps it indeed might be worth it, to carry some of them back to Dale with my returning wagons. Wines, weed, and maybe even some food. Fruit cake - it lasts forever!

Since the route has reached that far, I wonder if I could stretch it all the way? The Grey Havens is where it ends. Time will tell, if there is reason enough to follow the trail of those who leave this land forever. We'll see..."

((YOU, are the loops of the trade-chain.  Catrena (or whatever assosiates she can make in Dale)deliver goods to Mirkwood, Elves there deliver them to Misties. Behorhn or other beorns there deliver them to Rivendell, and from Rivendell elves move them on to Lone-lands, and from there someone else is responsible for the delivery to the next place, untill they end up in Bree - where somebody sells them. Then the caravan makes a small trip to the Shire, and returns to Dale along the same East Road, again escorted by you, or others in the Company's service.))

((Whoever of you can be one loop in the chain. You can freely deside that you are now delivering the cargo as it moves through your current zone - or you may be protecting the caravan as it is being delivered by others, or NPCs. The only wish and requirement is, that you are aware of your part of the chain while you are at it, and have something to tell people IC, if they ask about it. Feel free to take tasks from others aswell, as you meet people on the road. Feel free to hire others to help you to the next location.  Feel free to have your own agendas on the roadside. Make some extra money on the way for yourself. What better!? There are no true restrictions over what you can do in your personal game surrounding this core-plot.))
