I had sent my beloved family to Ered Luin, so that they wouldn't be harmed, but a both Varni and Hrai had objected, for they wished to stay with me. I could not- will not- let them be hurt or worse, and I had sent them off. I had put my friends to guard my family, as I trust them to the point of being of my kin.
I arrived at the River Sirion, as the Valar had long sought to go across it and march to Angband. I had stayed there as one of the guards, though it was more of continuously marching towards the middle of the standpoint, and coming back with our blades bloody and usually some of us killed.
The Battle for Sirion was won, I still was a guard here, as one could not predict if Morgoth would send a force to recapture it, or worse. Sadly, I hadn't seen that much of a battle, save some rogue Yrch seeking escape, yet they had found their doom.
I had heard rumors that Morgoth was cast out, and finally defeated, and the battle was done, yet there were bright flames in the sky, making beautiful yet deadly colors. There was a loud thunder, the ground shook and some trees were uplifted, and I had gone to see what It was. The Towers of Thangorodrim were broken, and lie a-top a great dragon, now vanquished. Seeing this, I was glad, for now the Evil had been destroyed and peace could come without any problems.
I had prepared and went to Ered Luin to see my beloved Family. I camped near Little Gelion, watching the stars and recalling the memories of merriment that were held in Gondolin before it's ruin. I had then passed through the Dwarf road, and made my way to Ered Luin. I was delighted to see that my family and friends had made it to Mithlond, and from there did I speak of the fate of Beleriand and what had occurred , then we held a feast of family and friendship, joy and love, hope and faith.
